    I've never heard of it. I just spent a month shopping for a camera.

    As far as I know, Aiptek's line of "DV" cameras are NOT good for filming. Yes, they are digital video cameras because they record to a CF memory card, but the quality you get is about the quality of a webcam.

    Their newest camera, the Pocket DV3100, records at resolutions of 320 x 240 at 10fps. Wow, jerky video with a bad resolution. True DV is 720 x 480 at 29.97fps (NTSC).

    Unless you're using this camera/camcorder as a toy, I wouldn't recommend you buying it.

    But then again, I might be wrong so I apologize in advance for any mistakes I've made.
