ST Cameos in the ST

How about Axl? He is looking kind of Star Wars-ish these days.

 

I would love to see Wedge and Lando make an appearance in the sequels.

 

How about that guy named Bob...er... I forget his last name... or where he showed up in the movies.

But, I'd like to see him again in the ST.

 

I want to see the return of the Rancor Keeper, and the rather large woman in Jabba's Palace.

 

A Bruce Campbell cameo please.

 

I think it's sad but safe to say that Philip Seymour Hoffman will not be in the next Star Wars movies. R.I.P. He would have been an excellent Jedi!!!

 

I would like to see a cameo or some sort of role portrayed by Morgan Freeman.

I would like a cameo by some Banthas.

 

Makes sense for me to say Bossk, and also any of the Empire bounty hunters. Of course a huge background character would be any Sith we know or PT jedi that survived...like Qui lon Vos or Pablo Jill. I agree with any cantina aliens from the OT, that would be awesome. Make sure it's just a regular suited person and NOT cgi. CGI is for space scenes or action shots.

 

What if JJ puts a Star Trek character in this movie because he put R2 in the Trek movies...

 

Yoda, Ackbar, and Ventress.

 

I think if anyone gets a cameo, it'd be Ackbar. He's instantly recognizable, and is even the subject of an internet meme...not to mention it would be easy to recreate him through CGI. By contrast if you want Wedge, you have to hire the actor, then put him into a scene...and then nobody will recognize him because he always had a helmet on in all his scenes in the OT.

 

Wedge would be my choice. If not on-screen, I'm pretty sure he could be mentioned in a single line as a nice nod to fans. "Admiral Antilles has moved his fleet to the other side of the sector" or something along those lines. Much like Quinlan Vos was mentioned in PT.

 

James Bond will have a cameo...seriously Daniel Craig will have a cameo in the film...apparently he is a big SW fan and begged JJ to be in the film...look it up

 

Wedge wasn't wearing a helmet in ROTJ's Rebel Briefing or Endor Celebration scenes.

But Denis Lawson would need something more substantial than a cameo or "pilot in cockpit" scenes to want to come back, and that's unlikely with all the other stuff going on in the films.

 

Honestly, I'd love for Chris Pine to get a role in subsequent films. Yes, he plays the jerk quite a bit, but he's very versatile.

As far as existing SW characters, the Catina band need to make a return appearance.

 

Yeah, but did you know that was Wedge at the time you watched the movie? Because I sure didn't. It wasn't until much later that I was poking around the internet looking up Star Wars stuff that I found out that guy was Wedge Antilles sans helmet.

 

Pretty sure that wasn't true.

 

Sure. Looks just like him. Might even see his helmet on Endor, but his reactions in greeting Lando, Chewie, Luke (I think it was all three) are kind of a giveaway, too.

 

All right, maybe we'll need someone else to weigh in.

Why? and don't say it's a feeling. This has been reported by various sources...unlike the rumor of the unaltered OT coming to blu ray which was reported be a dubious source and has pages and pages of discussion as if were confirmed...
