    Hi from England!

Anyway, on my birthday last year, I went and saw Simple Minds in concert in Boston, but for the life of me, I can't remember what the name of the hall where I saw it was called.

It was right next to Fenway Park (Go Redsox!), if it is any help to you.

I only ask, because I got the latest Ben Folds CD (my favourite artist) yesterday, and it has a free DVD that came with it, and the track where he is playing "Army" (my favourite song) was performed in a place called "The Avalon" (does that ring any bells), which looks very similar to where I saw Simple Minds two weeks later.

I will be so ticked off if I found out that I could have seen my favourite artist (and even be taped) but didn't, when I had such easy access to him, because I didn't know he was playing there!

Avalon is next to Fenway. I hate to say it but I think you I think you missed your chance. There are many great clubs in that area.

if it was by Fenway,it was a club, right?

    The clubs by Fenway are:
    Avalon(best club on Lansdowne IMHO)
    Axis
    Bill's Bar [face_puke]
    Karma
Jillians(but I doubt it was there)

There's a couple more but I cant think of the names right now. Most likely,it was Avalon. They usually have the well known bands that come to town.Great place!

Was even better when AeroSmith owned it,but alas they sold it :(

    Hope that helped!

Thanks guys, I think I am pretty certain that it is the Avalon where I went...They do look the same (or as close as I could tell from the low lighting in the club)

And in that case, BUGGER! I missed him. I could have seen him in Philadelphia too, but he was sold out! :(

I'm going to go cry in the corner now.

    Thanks, guys.

Or you could just sit in the corner quietly plotting your revenge on those who wronged you... ;)

    (not us of course!)

Plotting the downfall of others is a hobby of mine...Don't worry, you're all from Boston, so you're all in my cool book. :)
