Can someone catch me up to date?

Hey kids,
Checking in with you from the sunny orange juice state of... wait... ummm... is this Georgia? What the heck am I doing here? Well, here's the 30 second version:

-Evil Rat! I have no job. No, not fired, just downsized due to some bull plot against their best employees.
-Homeless: That's right, getting affordable housing is like trying to get a place in Boulder for under $500 the day AFTER classes have started.
-Carless: Turns out that when the seatbelt fails even in an accident that breaks windows, puts a two foot dent INSIDE the passenger compartment, and totals the car, it is somehow still my problem.
Friendless: Funny how a little thing like a couple thousand miles makes people apathetic.

Basically, I'm coming home Wednesday night. Only six months early!
But someone needs to catch me up to date. Apparently, there has been some camping, outdoor movies, a barbeque, costumes, firefighting, lots of moving around, a few hangovers, and general mahem. What does the future hold? When can I participate in real fandom again?
These questions and many others will be answered in the next episode of "Soap".

 

It will be nice to have you back. There is just to much going on, you forgot about ZOO's doll making.
We have a meeting Aug 16th at Perkins, we can catch you up then.
At the camping trip Mistress & I made a Death Star pinata, it was cool, filled with little shooters.
Cyodarun just bought there new home, O_W has a new car, his dream car.
JD had or is having a big fall out at work, Grimby is still in Keorea. DH is making hilts & getting better all the time. Oh, & he is doing some composing of music for JD's fan film.
Me, not much, trying my best to do my job, be a good person & what-not.
