PT Can someone explain this AOTC line to me?

Good lord, all this arguing about a line that people thought was funny. It was either Obi-Wan's own little joke about the Council, or it was a code that they created for themselves (and was most likely done with a sense of humor in that case).

 

Mace Windu sure ain't old.

 

Obi-wan had created the code as a joke between him and R4. It always struck me as a sign that Obi-wan was still a bit cynical about the pompousness of the Jedi Council.
