Can we do something about misquoting

This has be done with great comic effect, so it shouldn't be a banable offence in it's own right. If it's used in an offensive or baiting way then band for it being offensive or baiting.

That's typical of most of the stuff that goes on here.

 

So if someone misquotes somebody and that person doesnt like being misquoted. Even though everyone else gets a laugh out of it should we just tell them to suck it up or do something about it.

And Sapient the misquote was removed a few days ago.

ask Knightwriter about it.

 

The way I understand it...

If someone misquotes someone and the misquote breaks the TOS, then something will be done about it.

If someone misquotes someone and the misquote doesn't break the TOS, then nothing will be done about it.

 

again, beezel is getting all worked up over something that has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM.

 

I don't see what's the deal about the whole "fixed" thing, it's nothing new and happened before the quote feature as well. If it's offensive then a mod will take care of it. And if someone gets riled about someone fixing their post, they need to get a thicker skin.
