Can we get a new JCC banner?

I know, I just figured a couple of banners would be rotated in the JCC by now.

Why on earth would you think that?

 

Aren't there old ones that can be used?

 

You still seem to be thinking with the mistaken assumption that they need to be rotated.

No rotation until (unless) there's a quality selection, don't go raiding the archive for the sake of it.

Repeat as necessary.

I still don't get most of the you guys are being so stingy about this. Do you like the current Clonetrooper/Coruscant banner that much?

 

In comparison to the other banners there are for the JC, yes. No offense to some of the other artists, but of those that were used on that 4 banner weekly rotation, only the current clonetrooper one really was of the quality that should have gone up. Considering that we're moving soon, there isn't much point in doing a contest for banners, and thus unless there are banners of a matching or better quality why rotate them?

 

I expect the boards' management is quite busy preparing for the upcoming move now in addition to moderating.

Why would there be a priority for a new JCC banner when there are more important things to do?

I'm sure it'll change eventually, but changing one banner to a rotation isn't that important.

They'll get around to it eventually. Rushing things can cause change but it generally won't end up with the best quality.

This seems to be the general opinion of the JCC mods, so just wait until after we move.
