ST Can we see other Jedi other than Rey and Luke in VIII or beyond?

Didn't look like this was discussed anywhere so I'll ask here.

I know that some say that Finn is a possibility but maybe there are others out there? I mean in Rebels it appeared as if Ahsoka and Kanan were contemplating the concept of them restoring the Jedi themselves by finding the Force Sensitive children themselves and as they say, these kids haven't stopped being born. Maybe they went through with it or something?

I really hope it's not just Rey and Luke, otherwise they're just repeating the OT again and people have had enough of that(as seen in TFA criticism).

 

I hope so and not just Fin, or new recruits picked up along the way.
I want some of Luke's students to have either made it out of the massacre or been elsewhere when it happened.
So that Luke hasn't failed completely at his mission.

 

Yeah by the time this trilogy ends I'd like to see a lot of new jedi and the beginning of a new jedi order.

 

Don't worry about it, after seeing TFA I am now positive that Luke can just go around and wave his hands at force sensitives and say "awaken" and they are all good to go.
By the next trilogy they will be born with Jedi robes and lightsabers.

 

I'm hoping that we'll see another hopeful in Episode VIII, not including Ben, whom I am positive is going to convert in the next Episode so that Snoke can be the focus in IX.
By the end of IX, I'm expecting to see a small handful of Jedi go up against the baddies in what the AotC arena battle should have been.

 

Luke is said to be the last of the Jedi again so I hope they don't contradict themselves.

I do hope that he isn't just talking about Rey.

 

Rey has done a fine job of that.

 

I think when the temple was attacked while most of Luke's students were slaughtered I think some of them got away and are now scattered to the far reaches of the galaxy but I do not believe that Ben had this skill to kill every single one of them.

 

You know what I mean.

 

Perhaps for another topic but in the flashback scene in TFA, where Ben impales someone, are we to assume that was one of Lukes students?

Finn maybe? Others tba? Either way, I'm pumped!

 

Maybe if he returns then all of the other Jedi across the galaxy will rally to him and the Republic.

I would be fine with him not being the last of the Jedi, but we shall see.

 

I wonder in Episode VIII we will see more Jedi?

 

That's the point of this whole thread.

 

I wonder what Snoke means .? Maybe Luke will train more while Rey and Finn face Kylo . Or Maybe Leia will decide to join in .

 

I think that he's referring to other FS people out there, that Luke could conceivable bring together/train should he ever return. As for the question, I have a hard time believing that there AREN'T other FS people out there besides just Rey. Heck we MIGHT have already met two of them (Finn and Maz Kanata).
