Sometimes when I'm listening to SW music on my comp (earphones) and my mom calls me to take out the garbage or something. So instead of turning it off, I let it run, but hum the music as I do the chore, then come back... and I'm still humming right along withe music.

    Just felt like sharing.

"Only in your mind, my young apprentice."

Actually, I can usually just start humming all of the Star Wars songs in my head, and when I turn the CD player on, I'm in the same key and beat as the actual recording.

Then I start humming the songs at school.....then I look up from my desk and everyone is staring at me.....then I shutup.

I find myself tapping out the drum solo from Zam and the Chase Through Coruscant all the time.

Yes, quite a catchy tune isn't it? Methinks it's my new favorite from the AOTC soundtrack.

Otherwise I whistle the Imperial March down the hallway....bwa ha ha.

Or twiddle the electric guitar bit when I have my minidisc player on. You have to admit, it is a very stylish addition to an unconventionally slick track.

As long as you have good timing, you can do it :)
I do it a lot too. What sucks is if your CD skips, though [face_plain]

I've done this too, particularly at work!

Sometimes I like humming the songs better, cause I can throw in little variations of them and make them sound like different pieces music. :D

Oh geez! Another music hypocrite? Why do people come in the *MUSIC* forum and diss how much we like music?

    Go figure. [face_plain]

I've got you all beat. My humming sounds so much like music that when I turn the CD player off my roomates still yell at me to turn down my stereo. I am my own orchestra. HA...HA..HA

A question: has anyone else tunred the sound off too any of the SW films and tried to make up their own version of the score, or am I just wierd like that.

When I've listened to it often enough and know it by heart, I can do it, yes. Anybody can do this.
