Well, I dare say, friend Mastadge, that that happens to be one young man, an unfortunate young man, who is, truth be all told, missing out on one of finest films of all time.
Indeed, he must not have much of an imagination if his mental perception of a character can be so easily destroyed.
Clockwork Orange treatment, anyone?
His 16 year old son "slams his hands on his ears, shuts his eyes, and runs screaming from the room?" Are we sure it's not his 6 year old son that does that? I mean really, grow up.
That's not pathetic.. It's understandable.
his loss deifinantly his loss.
what shine said.
That is quite sad and frightening.
I can beat that, I'm in the mall the other day looking for an Oklahoma State Hat, and I actually hear some 16 year old girl in the food court say "I was just in the bookstore and they already have a book out for that Lord of the Rings Movie"
This country's going to bankrupt in 30 years
""slams his hands on his ears, shuts his eyes, and runs screaming from the room"
i think i've already seen this movie.
rainman wasnt it?
And the hobbit, the prequel era tie-in was released recently as well.
Cut the kid some slack. It's his choice.
A little extreme I grant you but still...
they made Stranger in a Strange Land into a movie[/]??? SAY IT AIN'T SO!!!
Pathetic. Nope, can't cut him any slack. Ooh, he's had his own mental image of what the characters look like. Welcome to the club, junior. And guess what? Most of us have been reading those books longer than you've been alive. Just pitiful.
Avoiding a movie is one thing. But that kid is ridiculous.
I dare say I fancy this child to be a knave.
Anyone see this "Stranger in a Strange Land" movie?
Well to be fair, now whenever I think of Frodo I see Elija Wood, not the mentl image I've had for a while.
I can kind of see where he is coming from, but even if I was told Satan himself was running the grill area, I would still have to stop into BK for my weekly Double Whopper (Ketchup, Mustard, Pickles, Lettuce, Tomato, and Cheese), and Coke Squishy.
This father, indeed, strikes me for a knave also.
"Draw and defend thyself!"
Psst, the father isn't here.
hey, i'm almost as petrified about seeingSpiderman as well.......
the CGI swinging of from building to building looks fake....and the actor is not.....let's just say, it's not what i envisioned.
What am I looking at?
