Can you see Darth Vader's eyes in ANH?

Has anyone else ever noticed that you can see Darth Vader's eyes in ANH? I always thought that was a mistake, and that it would be corrected in the SE. But you can still see his eyes behind the mask. Or maybe i'm just seeing things? I especially notice this during the death star battle.


I would go as far as to say that his whole uniform looks slightly different. His mask, or at least the eyepiece, has a slightly brown tint to it.

I'm sure this will probably get a "duh" reaction from most people but have never seen it mentioned before. If this has been asked before, sorry.

 

I've never noticed it, but then again I've never really paid attention. But the eye pieces have to be darker than sunglasses (or the same darkness maybe), and it's very rare to see someone's eyes behind sunglasses.

I have seen his eyes behind the reddish tinted eyeholes. I think that they used a different suit for the other films.

 

They're mostly visible in the scenes when he's in his TIE fighter, especially when he says "Let him go, stay on the leader."

 

Yes at some points it's visible.
You also can see inside R2-D2, but i don't know in what part of the movie.

 

You can see Kenny Baker while Artoo is in the sandcrawler, looking around at all of the other droids.

 

I've never noticed either of these things.

 

Neither have I.

 

I've also noticed Vader's eyes when he's in his TIE cockpit. I also notice them in ROTJ when Vader taunts Luke about his sister.

You can also see them good in the scene in the DS bridge. I hope no one askes GL to 'fix' these things in the AE. As theyare on of my favorite tidbits in ANH. If anything about the shots should be changed the eyes could be made to look more like Hyden Shaw.
