Tape youself playing a game with a VCR?

 

Yes.

 

Connect the video/audio cords to the Video/Audio In part of the VCR, set the VCR to the input channel and then record.

 

I can tape myself doing other things....

Yeah. I have a DVD recorder, and can record myself playing games if I hook it up to my X Box.

 

Yup, its very easy! Super de duper easy!

 

Sometimes I make DVDs of cutscenes, and cut them together like a film. I did it with Silent Hill 2, and KOTOR 1 and 2, and Republic Commando.

 

Because you're probably too young to know.

 

I'm doing that tomorrow, NH.....you know why.

haha... because i've been playing computer games since i was about 3 literally... and I'm 21 now, my parents have kinda had their fill of computer games, especially when i plug the machine into the main (ie; biggest) tv in the living room.

So this one day, I'm sitting at home, playing WCW/nWo revenge! on the N64, kicking everyone's butt in a royal rumble, and I get the idea of recording it.

I record playing for the rest of the royal rumble, then when dad gets home, he does his usual 'turn that bloody thing off'.

so yeah... the evening goes on, then he goes out to the kitchen to make us all some tea! (yeah im english)

I switch the video on, pick up the controller, and almost randomly button-bash...

dad comes in, goes bloody nuts, then the trick is sprung, and everyone laughs

 

Does it work the same with DV Tapes in a video camera?
