    It was called the Red Ensign. It was red, with the Union Jack in the upper left corner (where the stars are on the American flag) and in the middle of the right half of the flag, was a shield.

    Before that, we used the Union Jack.

    sorry, didn't realise that was the name of the game ;)

    to the best of my knowledge, the largest national park in Canada would be Wood Buffalo National Park, which is situated in Northwest Territories, right on the Alberta border.

    now, back to my question.........
