As a general rule, you should have one more litterbox than you have number of cats. If you've recently made any changes to litter, location, or the presence/lack of a hood on the litterbox, change it back. Are your cats getting along? Lastly, does anybody have skin problems or some other medical problem that may be causing discomfort. Have known of a couple of cats with skin allergies who, once they were no longer itchy, went happily back to the potty pan.

    Happy anniversary Ish!

So, it's the first day of Spring and there is currently a blizzard outside. While the rest of the planet is experiencing 'global warming', I'm experiencing the next ice age. Oh look. A mammoth :p

And the most depressing part is the fact that my new shoes came in the mail today: size 12 red dance Converse. They are so cute, but I won't be able to wear them like ever :'( [/teenage drama moment]

Hasn't stopped me. Though, that may be one of the reasons why I go through shoes so fast...

Five litter boxes? I have no idea where we'd put them! And no, nothing has changed. We did change the litter but they were pooping outside my door before that. I have sprayed outside my room with this pet spray. I won't know if it works for a while yet as the pooping isn't every day.

Ooh, shoe drama! I'm incredibly picky when it comes to shoes. Add me being vegetarian to the mix and it's a nightmare! There was a shoe company called Madfish that made great shoes and boots out of vegan materials, but they seem to have vanished. Here's what I've been wearing for the past four years or so, and they're still going strong:

    That's an awesome shoe.

Currently, I'm wearing a cheap pair of Starter sneakers that I got at Wal-mart, because I had literally walked through the soles of my other sneakers. I'm wearing down the soles of my Converse, too. I destroy shoes. Thoroughly destroy them.

I take it you don't have to tromp through a foot of snow on a daily basis. A lot snow and dance shoes just don't go well together. I've done it numerous times and it's never fun.

I wore one pair of high top converse throughout most of high school by grade 12 I had gone through 2 pairs of laces and they had a hole in the bottom. I also wore converse to Prom and Grad. My feet are quite large and I can't get women's shoes in my size (unless I travel 8 hours to a specialty store, like I did last summer) so I like Converse because they are unisex. The hightops give me ankle support, but now that I'm using my wheelchair most of the time (stupid hip) I've decided that I can wear cute dance shoes.

Instead I wear them out by walking a four-mile round trip into town on a regular basis. Apparently that's been pretty hard on my shoes... or I simply drag my feet.

And as an owner of problem hips... I curse them, too. They have a knack for just making everything difficult by being painful or acting stupid in general. [face_plain]

My son lost my iPod touch. He had it in the car so it is either in the car, in the house or in the snow in between. He asked me if I had it about 30 minutes after we got home. I look in my purse, it is not there. I told him to check his room. If he didn't find it there I would have went out and looked in the snow before another 6 inches came down. He said, "don't worry I found it.". So I didn't go outside. I asked him for it back this morning and he said, " I really didn't find it, I just didn't want you freaking out and making me search for it!"

So I am furious. I can't find it in the house or the car. It is probably under a foot of snow. He said, "Can't you just buy another one?".

It is $200! I told him, "Yes I can. I will sell your PS3 to pay for it."

He didn't like that idea. Tough!

Oh, when you said they're madfish, I thought it was the type, not the brand.
I'd say to him, "Suck it up, Pilgrim!" [face_cowboy]

OMG, I just did a search for madfish boots, and somehow got linked to some girl sex sight! o_O I mean, really, if I'm gonna accidentally go to a porno site, why can't I find one that has male models? Geesh. :p

My little brother (he was like 8 at the time) 'lost' his glasses for like 4 months. We found them in the snowbank in the spring as the snow was melting.

My pastor once told us the world's best accidental-porno-story (hopefully I can tell this without breaking any TOSs). He was in seminary school in the library doing some research for something (this was back in the 90s) and I guess he accidentally clicked on a link that brought him to a porn pop-up. He panicked and clicked the X but another pop-up came up, this one worse. Every time he tried to quit, another one would pop up. It took him awhile to remember he could just press the ''off' button.

Also, my mother is currently knitting a ballerina sock monkey and the tail has a weird ruffle on the end. The stuffy is really cute, but the ruffle gives the tail a rather phallic look. Needless to say, it has become the butt of the jokes in the household.

Yeah, I'd make it without the ruffle. :p

Oh, and new info on the cat pooping problem! Fed the cats and there was no poop. Heard a cat clawing at the carpet and there was poop, so I think I know which cat it is. She's the annoying cat the tries to get everywhere that she's not wanted and the one that breaks into my room. I thought the spray had worked but it seems it didn't.

Here is the one sure way to find an iPod--go buy another iPod.

I searched the entire house. I turned over couches, pulled beds away from walls and spent five hours cleaning, searching, checking. I even raked the snow from the car to the house to see if it was dropped. So I gave up and bought a new one. I go to the gym for about two hours each day and I use it there. It is boring working out without your music.

So I tell my husband what happened. He said, "Did he check his backpack?" I told him, "Yes, he said he dumped everything out of it and went through it." My husband then said, "He also told you he found it the other night and that was a lie."

So I go find his backpack and dump it out. But there is nothing. But then I notice these little side pockets and in the very last pocket I found the iPod. I was livid.

My son says, "I checked the main part of the backpack!"

So now I have two iPods. I haven't opened the other one so I might bring it back. Why are teenagers so frustrating?

    I keep hoping that will apply to my lost wallet now that I've canceled all my cards and gotten a new subway pass, but not so far. My mom says I need to get my new drivers license first, which I'm sure is true considering that the one thing I really want out of it. 8-}

Annndd... I think it's about time for a new phone. It's starting to not hold a charge for even a day and randomly shutting off even when it has a charge. It's 3 generations old (a iPhone 3GS) and was bought pretty close to when they first came out so I guess I've gotten some pretty good life out of it!

Good grief. My husband went through a thing like that right after he had radiation. Lost house key...lost car key...lost wedding ring. Fortunately we found all of these items, but not before locks and keys were replaced. Do you know how much those newfangled fat plastic car keys cost?? [face_plain]

But teens have not had brain radiation (that we know of). Maybe it is just immature brain development.

Teenagers are stupid. I'm allowed to say this because I am one... for 4 more months anyways. Gah. I'm turning 20. I'm almost like, dead :p I'm actually refusing to have a birthday this year.

I think I"m getting sick :( It's 11:30 and I'm seriously considering going to sleep. I can't get sick. I have 3000 essays and exams to do.

They did a study I read about a few years ago, can't for the life of me remember which/where/etc, but they found that certain functions in a teenager's brain shut off with the onset of puberty and don't turn back on until the 20s, to allow for other brain functions to take over and speed development. One of these concerns the ability to read and interpret facial expressions and body language, and another is the actions/consequence logic. So quite literally, for a large group of teenagers, they don't think and are walking bags of hormones. And males seem to be affected more than females, which is why the insurance rates for young males are higher than for young females.
