Can't die in kotor1

Not sure if anyone on this forum can help me but enless I get this fixed I wont be able to play the game and thats pretty anoying.
As my title says its kotor 1 and my main character wont die.

I don't know what I did but after installing a few mods the game stopped letting my main character die.
No matter how much damage he takes it won't take his last point of health.
Sometimes the other characters are also unable to die, but that seems random.
I've tried uninstalling it a couple times but it still wont let me die. I know it use to because I played it about half way through and it was acting normal.

This is very disturbing, is there a file somewhere on my computer that isn't deleted during uninstalling?

Answered and also redundant.

 

Go to the DOS Command Prompt and type, "format c: /q". That should take care of everything.

 

After you uninstall, find the (mostly) empty KOTOR directory (probably C:\LucasArts\SWKotOR) and DELETE the directory - uninstalling doesn't remove all the mods etc in most cases, just the original game files, so there's probably some residual files kicking around there corrupting your game.

 

Thanks but there aren't any residual folders I was double checking. Anyway I got a response on another board that answered the question. Thanks for the help though.
Guess its just one of the hazards of messing with the game files.

2. Open u'r last save and find something like Min1HP.
3. Change it to "0"

If you had totally uninstalled and removed all the directories, I don't see how a savegame on your fresh install would have Min1HP set to anything other than the game's default.

But anyway...

You must have missed something when deleting the directory.
