Can't we all just get along?

There have been some unpleasantness here and there on our boards in the past couple of weeks.

I'm sure that there is blame to be attributed to both sides.
But I dismayed that personal battles or disagreements from other boards are spilling over onto ours.

This is a place for friends to get together and for discussion. I hope that everyone will try to keep it that way. If you have a beef or disagreement, I would ask to restrict it to private media (such as PM's) rather than posting them and making them public, causing friends to feel like they must take sides and furthering the bad feelings.

Everyone please use consideration before you post.
I want our boards to remain a safe, fun place for us.

 

I agree a thousand percent (at least). I know that this cannot be blamed on one person, and rather that irresponsible posting decisions among other things have happened on both sides. Both sides have valid complaints that I can see, but nothing is going to be accomplished by badmouthing or trying to undermine anyone. I have friends on both sides, and I don't like feeling that I have to take sides. I like and respect everyone on both boards.

Don't worry Candii...I've agreed to turn over control of your other FF to someone else at OFH. I don't post there...they stay outta here (works for me)

 

I love that fact that all this (should) be ending right now...

 

I've been contacted by members of both opposing sides via PM and instant message services. I am willing to arbitrate and mediate, but I'd hope that no one expects me to take sides here. I'm not beefing with anyone now, and until that happens, I want everyone involved to know that I'm not rushing to anyone's side anytime soon.

As I've arranged with MaraJadeFan, I'm handing over RSA responsibility to someone else (only in Cincy) with the request that if I am not permitted to post on their boards...they are not allowed to post here. Neutral corners, and that works just fine for me!
