It's 5:15 on a Friday afternoon and instead of being my youthful cheery self I'm left thinking... the week end is only two days long... I have been working for five days straight... what does everybody think of a four day work week? Elect me your undisputed dictator and I'll make it happen Have a "Blue" filled weekend from your's truly.

Starting May 17th, I'll be on a 4 day work week until the end of the summer. Of course I've still got to work a 40 hour week, which means a longer workday. So it's not much of an improvement.

 

I have tried to push that here as well Entropy but to no avail. Campus is just dead on Friday.

 

They are citing budget shortfalls for the change (somthing to do with saving on utilities), but I suspect they just want to have a 3 day weekend. Not that I mind. In fact, I think I would prefer a 4 day work week.

 

The utilities thing is what I have said for here as well.

 

Nice! I wish we could work 10 hour days here, and have a three day weekend, too. That would be NIIIICE!

Of course... but keep in mind the day would have to be longer to compensate.

well poldu school is almost out over here in Bunn i dont know when you get out but May 28 is my last day of school period. Well until military school that is....

 

hmmmmm i could deal with longer days as long as i get a 3 day weekend ime happy, also i dont know when i get out probably about the same time you do

I try to, but with the psycho principle (who says she got hit by lightning 3 times, which most likely a way of intimidating the students) making up with some stupid rules like having to tuck our shirts in etc., its kinda hard
