Evan, IN Cape Girardeau Comic Con

I just learned about this one and just in case you need somewhere to be in a couple of weeks ...

The Cape Girardeau Comic Con will be held in Cape Girardeau (duh!), MO on April 21st (9 a.m. to 11 p.m.) and 22nd (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) at 926 Broadway Street.

Among the guests will be Roy Thomas, Gary Friedrich, and Denny O'Neil. Roy Thomas edits ALTER EGO for TwoMorrows and writes ANTHEM for Heroic Publishing. He has also written for Marvel (he assisted then took over for Stan Lee), DC (where he wrote the JSA-related books and other projects that included Superman and Batman), and others. Gary was Roy's assistant and wrote a long run of SGT. FURY, CAPTAIN AMERICA, DAREDEVIL, and others. And Denny O'Neil also assisted Roy at Marvel before moving to Charlton and DC where he helped put the "dark" back in the Dark Knight. Denny's written and or edited Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the JLA, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, and many, many more.

There's also gaming and other guests. It sounds like a nice day trip. Should be about the same travel time as going to Louisville
