Chic, IL CapriCon Workshop New Information!!!!

This is a big enough change that I wanted to seperate this from the Volunteer thread so everyone will see it.

The Saturday Workshop will take place starting at noon on the north side of Chicago, in the Wrigleyville area. Please contact blackrosegeneral@hotmail.com for address information. As Cubbie fans know, parking is a pain in that area. Public transportation is recommended. Indoor activity but end of day will be some loading of supplies for transport to Bosh's place.

The Sunday Workshop will be at Bosh's place on the south side. Contact boshtalk@aol.com for directions. This will also start at noon. More parking available in this area. This will take place in a garage so dress warmly.

Wait.. What is this about??

 

A lot of the material to be used in the set-building has two disadvantages:

1-It's at Shauna's on the north-side
2-It's in 4'X 8' Sheets & 12' rods.

Because of this, it's impossible to transport it to my garage in the transport we have. So, the basic cutting, molding and splicing will have to be done at Shauna's on Saturday, then transported to my locale for Sunday's workshop.

1-Palm Sander
steal an extension cord from outside Christmas lights for the day....

I didn't attend Saturday but Sunday can be summed up as:
Blood, Sweat and Sawdust

Well...not really any blood
Well...not any sweat, it wasn't warm enough outside to cause us to sweat.
But sawdust, lots of sawdust.

Any silliness by me was caused by the paint, yeah, that's the ticket. I don't care if it was latex and outside so no fumes, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

 

...and Saturday was summed up as....

three flights of stairs....up and down and up and down and up and down and up and down....

....and....my tools are bigger than yours Bosh....

sorry i have been out of it for so long but is it all done or is there more to be done i can let you guys use my power tools if you want. Ah school what a nightmare if this is done or what ever disreguard then.
