I always find it quite funny when people on the 'net take real offence to people using caps, saying how rude it is. I mean, come on ... that being said, I find the whole net etiquite thing quite bizarre. I absolutely _despise_ emoticons. What particulary riles me is when people post a quite nasty/rude comment, and then follow it with a "" (This means you, Buzz-Bumble), as if a little smiley face at the end makes it all OK.

Maybe we should start a "Net-speak" appreciation thread (with all acronyms like, LOL, IMO etc) and try and string together an entire thread without the use of 'real' words.

Or maybe the "Young person's spelling appreciation thread". Not naming names.
