SCENE: Captain Needa travels to the Executor to apologize to Darth Vader.

EVENT: Vader chokes Needa with the force, and his lifeless body falls to the ground. Two other officers come to dispose of the body. But when they pick him up, the supposedly dead Needa appears to "help" the two in picking him up.

This is very noticable in Empire Strikes Back. Needa is suppose to be dead but he moves in the movie after he's choked to death. So would you consider that Needa survived his execution and is still out there or would you consider him dead?

I would consider him alive since he moved after he's suppose to be dead, in the movie.

And here is a photograph of Needa walking around very alive and rubbing his throat.

Sometimes after I step on a spider it still kicks and convulses in pain...maybe that's what Needa was doing.

Or maybe it was just terrible acting.

The movements the actor made were no where near that. He's actually starting to put his feet under him and push so that the two can pick him up much easier.

My reply was not meant in any way to be taken seriously.

I've honestly never noticed the actor "helping" the other officers to pick him up. My guess is...it was just something overlooked by LucasFilm's editing department.

It is an actual, recognised blooper. Needa was meant to be dead.

It was just "bad acting", as Needa is described as killed in the ESB Novelization, Radio Dramatization, and in the ESB movie as well (although it "seems" as if he was still alive).

Rest assured, Captain Needa is no more. ;)

Ken Kenobi- And you have a day ;)

oh yeah, he's meant to be dead. The actor apparently just went on a guilt trip about the dead weight he was putting on those two people and decided to help them. Bad actor! Bad!
