I really need a little help from those here. ;)

The Star Wars Exhibition will be coming to Singapore this Nov-Apr so I'm trying to push for a proper place where visitors, especially those in costumes, can take photos at since photography is ban in the exhibition hall at all time.

The idea is to have a proper "Action Figure Blister Pack" like what is put up at CII, DC ComicCon '02(?) and CIII. Visitors can then go inside this display and take photo as tho' they are the SW Action Figures.

So can someone PLEASE post your photo of in this AOTC/ROTS/SWT Blister Pack so I can show it to my future supervisors? And can you also give a brief explaination on how it was structured, secure down etc so as to tolerate the endless flow of unsupervised visitors, especially kids having their photos taken?

    Thanks! :)

Ps: If anyone also knows how to contact the Cast & Crew of SW, please PM me the lead too as we are also planning to bring in a few of them during the run of the exhibition. Especially people like Christopher Lee, Hayden Christensen and Mark Hamill :D

well... i do not believe I have any of those pictures (but you can check, my c3 pictures are at http://www.swell-designs.net/pictures/c3)

But I doubt you will be able to get any of the stars without dropping a few grand... that is if you could get them at all... hayden and christopher weren't even at lucas' tribute show, so I don't know if you could get them, but hey, never hurts to try :p. You may want to try to look up some manager information becuase you wouldn't be able to contact them directly almost guaranteed.

Here's the C3 photo op figure booth. It was a heavy fiberglass/plastic/melamine????? structure printed with the card art then laminated. The bit which you stood behind was about 2-2 1/2" (about 60-75 cm) in front of the back structure and you literally just stepped in (the left side was open), took your picture and moved on. They also had a basket of sabers, blasters, etc that you could borrow for your picture. People did pretty well on the honor system, controlling their own line, though I'm sure some of the props did disappear. I don't personally have pictures of the C2 one, which I understand actually had clear plastic in front. This one did not. Good luck on your event.

Two and half inches, electrakitty? Wow, you'd have to be awful skinny to fit in there! lol

    Yes, I know you meant 2 1/2 feet, but I couldn't resist.

They do that at San Diego ComiCon, too. Coming up in two weeks.

Up at the top, where it says, "Paralada.Org Presents".

I'm pretty sure the card didn't say that originally!

Thanks! :) Now I guess I just need the one from CII/DC ComicCon 02.

About getting the Cast/Crew, ya, this "workplace" of mine can get stingy some times [face_worried] or spending their fund in the wrong places but I think my supervisor is kinda serious in getting at least 1 Actor/Actress down to the Exhibition. We already been through the LOTR Exhibition so some lessons had been learned from it as to make the SW Exhibition even more successful! :D My guess is, if this The Art & Science of Star Wars Exhibition is very successful, the Science Centre may be interested in trying their luck at Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination Exhibition when it conclude in US in 3 years' time. The Chief Executive did say that "....the Centre will be looking for more such exhibitions with crossover appeal" and ?We are quite progressive in embracing blockbusters with wide appeal, especially when a lot of interesting science is still embedded in the exhibition.? =D=

Actually, the Photo-editing he's referring to is the lightsaber blade. He digitaly added in an action figure blade to his lightsaber.

Ok, smartypants. Apparently my shift key hates me and it's far too late to edit now, so we'll just have to all figure out what I meant :p

    Just to verify something:
This Photo Booth is sponsored by Hasbro rite?

I really want to convince the Science Centre to have this display for the visitors and if the CIII/DC ComicCon one (since I think it's the safest and most "durable" one) is indeed from Hasbro, can try to get the Hasbro Rep here to enquire about it from the US side, like licensing, cost and contruction.

    Thanks! :)

    Reviving this thread. :p

Okay, just to get this straight, the following are the type of Star Wars Hasbro Card Photo Booth that had been set up previous:

Celebration II/DC ComicCon '02 - AOTC Basic Action Figure Card

Wizard World '03 - Clone War Action Figure Card

DC ComicCon '04 - Trilogy Basic Action Figure Card

Celebration III/DC ComicCon '05 - ROTS Basic Action Figure Card
DC ComicCon '05 - (As Above) and 4-Pack Clone Trooper Box

And anyone have any idea whose website is this?

    [image=http://www.r2ro.com/images/122-2274_IMG.jpg]
    http://www.r2ro.com/celebration2.htm

I'll be sending his "Carded" Jango Photo to my friend as an example/reference (Yes, it is LFL and Hasbro Approved) so will like to have his permission. Unless someone can lend me their photo from CII instead?

    Thanks! :)
