Carmen's Grammar Nazi Thread - as inspired by Dani and Comet

As many people know, FateNaberrie, who used to be known as the "grammar nazi" is my sister. Her grammar analness has rubbed off on me a bit, so I will use this thread as a means to try to educate comet, and any other users who may be struggling with very simple gramatical concepts.

Lesson 1: your vs you're

your - belonging to you
ex: The picture you are posting is not really your girlfriend.

you're - a contraction of the words "you" and "are"
ex: You're an idiot.

Practice

______ never going to be a mod.

It is illegal to have sex with ________ girlfriend because she is too young.

Yep, _____ a fraud.

Yep, _____ an idiot

You couldn't help yourself from a flamefest if _____ life depended upon it.

 

I've found a loophole, Carmen.

It seems "Comet's" actually works perfectly in every example.

I know how to use the english language properly. When I dont I am doing so to purposely anger certain users who get upset when I use improper punctuation. I find it entertaining that someone would care enough to take time out of thier life and make a thread about it. I can easily spell a word wrong and then watch as 20 users scramble to correct me. I set the trap, point out I set the trap and still users here continue to fall for it over and over. Entertainment at it's best.
