If I was gay, Billy Dee would be my first.
Geocities?!!! Wow. Old School. The memories...
Well, it's the only .wav I could find quickly. Brings back a few things, don't it? Ha.
This retraction by her representative reeks of damage control to me.
Me too. Nothing official but she said it as though it were already made official.
Billy Dee Williams is ugly.............
Hello, what have we here?
Billy Dee Williams destroyed the Death Star 2 two, with a colt 45. He just threw it into the reactor, and then the Death Star was destroyed. He's is the Chuck Norris of Star Wars...........
Are you talking to me?
Chuck Norris is God!!!!!!
I'm am praising Chuck Norris, the one and only True God of the Universe!!!!!!
@Lord Tyrannus but why the quoting? Are you trying to tell me something related to my post?
Yes, I am. I was also saying that Billy Dee Williams is the Star Wars SW equvalent to Chuck Norris; meaning that he's is very awesome!!!!!!!!
Chuck Norris is an ugly has-been.
Also, I get the feeling that Carrie's representative is just lying to keep the whole thing under wraps. LucasFilm is probably waiting to surprise us with a big announcement stating that Ford, Fisher, and Hamill have reprised their character roles again.
I could see Carrie Fisher saying something sarcastic or tongue-in-cheek at a book signing just to **** with the Internet rumor mill.
Leia was my first movie role model as well, but I have reservations about whether I want an older Big Three on screen. I don't think the atmosphere of the OT can be recreated and trying to do so would be detrimental.
She'll get a small role... make an appearance, speak a few lines, then you won't ever see her again.
Definitely sounds like damage control to me. I'm not saying it's definitely going to happen, but the tongue-in-cheek seems a bit weird. Having seen her at appearances, audio, etc, she's VERY open. I wouldn't be surprised if she was telling the truth and just blurted it out....
Hopefully you're are right!!!!!!
Carrie Fisher's PR take-back is typical spin control.
Disney/LFL marketing makes the call on these types of announcement. She isn't supposed to say anything until the major OT actors are signed up and confirmed.
This is all timed. So I wouldn't call anything "unconfirmed" here. If anything, the speed with which her people responded to this story suggests it is valid.
I read it as a joke before I saw the update. I think she'll be in the movie, but it was definitely said in typical sarcastic Carrie fashion.
"She's a feisty little one"
What's your problem with old people sonny ? How are you ever going to stay married and faithful to some one if you can't handle people getting old? Did it occur to you that you'll get old too ? And without a Hollywood trainer and diet you might show your age as you grow older. Just a thought ... and with one there is a good chance that they will look the part by the time filming begins.
Carrie Fisher says things with humor... TRUE THINGS.
Tongue-in-cheek? Please. The woman is TOO honest for her own good.
Good interview with CF on 'The Talk', she looks good and is sassy, I think she'll absolutely be more than able to hold her own if she appears in the ST.
Colt 45... works every time.
