She's going back to her mom's homeworld and assume her legacy as Boss Leia.
People who are whining about Carrie Fisher's weight need to chill out. Boss Nass was as fat as she currently is and no one had a problem with him leading the Gungans.
I think it adds an artistic element of foreshadowing in Jabba + Leia's scene now.
Jabs about her weight? Really?
She's aged pretty well for the most part.
Its a real sad commentary on the state of some people's maturity level and absolute ignorance when all they can do is make fun of Carrie's medical issues and her current appearance. If thats your shallow view of life, then you are a pathetic POS.
Don't worry, I don't think she'd be able to feel the jabs.
double cheese with extra bacon and ranch, please...
Hopefully this doesn't end up like Star Trek Nemesis where there were a bunch of chubby tired old people running around the Enterprise while Patrick Stewart and Tom Hardy facepalmed most of the time.
Never ceases to amaze me how any thread revolving around Mark or Carrie inevitably gets overrun by people with the belief that overweight individuals will forever remain overweight. *rolls eyes* I just need to start avoiding these threads all together so I don't lose all faith in humanity.
You post on the JC. Your faith in humanity left a long time ago.
Sorry, you seem to have this confused with one of those 'other' boards around the internet. -Darth Boba
Forever? Fat breaks down first with decomposing.
"I ate them all! And not just the men! But the women, and children too! They were delicious and I swallowed them!"
NO to her as Jaina Solo!!! NO! Jaina has a more tomboy look to her, this girl doesn't. Wrong eyes for being a solo as well. All wrong. Everything is wrong with that girl for a Solo.
Yes, and that was before her addictions and bipolar. Had you read my post, you'd know that was what I was referring to.
So Carry didn't have bipolar disorder or any drug or alcohol addictions during the making of the OT? OK, Skippy.
It's pretty well known Carri struggled with this stuff while being involved in the OT. It may have gotten worse since then, but the issues were already there. Even if that weren;t true, there are still some pretty large gaps i your thoguhts process.
1. There has been zero confirmation of Leia being a jedi. Right now you are making your assumption as fact. We don;t know at all what route they are going with Leia.
2. Even if she does need to lose weight, that is not nearly as difficult as people keep making it out to be.
3. You seem to be of the opinion that because of her struggles, she is unable to pull through and succeed. Honestly, your post has essentially stated people with bipolar disorder cannot succeed in their careers. Right now I get the distinct feeling you are showing more foolishness in knowledge of bipolar disorder than you claim others are.
Simmer down... geez. It's an internet forum. We're allowed to have fun. You act like somebody just slapped your mother.
People can say the same thing for the highly ignorant, selfish, and uneducated. I really hope you are joking.
I'm not sure what happened in this thread, but how did this turn into a make fun of Carrie thread?
This is huge; assuming it's true, it all but solidifies Luke and Han's presence based on what Mark said before, so have have our timeline confirmed with regards to the first film.
Actually, I am a strong proponent of the Eugenics movement
Not passing moral judgement on Eugenics (which I am not), you are entering dangerous territory for those who knows about the premise of the movement. Having said that, I find that targeting those who have a weight problem really for Eugenics to be way off target.
