    I knew she was still giving autographs but before leaving Carrie Fisher showed up in the Chapin Theater for a few minutes to introduce a repeat showing of the Main Event on the screen. Was anyone at this?

    I think at that time I was sitting in the Clone Wars screening room trying to nap in a chair.

    Yes, the wife and I made it into the hurriedly-announced repeat of the Main Event. She had to leave due to family emergency. Her elderly father has Alzheimer's and having experienced that in my family she needs to be at her father's side, not at the convention.

    Yup, I attended because I didn't get to see the Main Event.. Carrie was such a treat though, and Jay said she stayed way longer than she was supposed to. It was nice because there was such a small audience, she could really interact with the people. We all gave her a standing ovation... she is one cool woman!
