ok since this is a dead group this is an IDEA I have. we want to get people into what we are doing so what about if we get together at one of the comic / game shops and host a couple STARWARS game activity in the RMFF name we could put out flyers at the shop we plan to use . we could even rotate shops every other time. just to spreed the word around to those that game that we are out here.
jo is our card man and I think somehow in the group we could get one of those new starwars RPG's to play theed invasion I think its called? no spoilers in that .
what do you all think?

 

There's a card shop right down the street from my work called SPORTS CARDS ETC. I go there ALL THE TIME. It's a great place and the shop owner (Virginia) has tables set up to RPG, play cards, whatever. And also the owner of Collectormania in parker has said he'd be willing to put up flyers for the Kempe event, etc. And we could play at both places. I know Virginia well and it'd be my #1 choice to host some games there.

 

I have the Invasion of Theed starter adventure, but little time at the moment. I'm taking off for Florence, AL in a couple of hours. I'll be back Saturday morning, but then I have class. Someone could get it from me after Sunday if you need it.

 

I mentioned this a couple of weeks ago, one my friends is the owner of Clockwork Comics & Games on Broadway & Hampden, he has tables that he uses to host games on Saturdays.

 

hey that's RIGHT! maybe we can get together there! and play some games, RPG, CCG, whatever! Let's get this off the ground

 

On of the errands I have today is picking up the one comic I buy each month, i'll run it by him, see if he's interested.

I would estimate he can fit maybe 8-10 people, i'll ask him how many he's had in the past.

I might have to find another comic just so I have an excuse to go and hang out with Jeff in his store, we've known each other since HS.

I know everybody is busy but lets get this going so I can stop complaining .

It's real easy to put files in the Yahoo group files area, we've got 15MB in there.

Yeah i'm probably going to leave now, but don't expect me back untill after 7 if I do because I almost always end up hanging out for hours talking to Jeff and whoever comes in.

yes I do and it sux I stoped buying two of everything about a year ago.

 

What's that big gaming hall over in Aurora...boyo, cards were really big there! That would also be a killer house for an RPG.....
