Who does the voice acting for Clone Wars? Ive looked and havent found much of anything.

And i know Hayden Christianson(sp?) doesnt do Anakin, and Christopher Lee doesnt do Dooku.

But does Frank Oz do Yoda? In Chapter 1, it sounded an awful lot like him.

None of the proper cast do their character's voices apart from Anthony Daniels, who plays Threepio's voice.

Whoever they are, their doin' a great job, imo.

They sound very close to the original actors, especially Obi-Wan & Yoda.

    ...and R2-D2 as himself. :D

Too bad they didn't get Mark Hammil to do any voices, he's great!

Well, form chpt 1, Obi-Wan's voice was unconvincing. Alec Guinness would have never said Chan-cellor, more like Charn-cellor.
    Sorry, nit-picky English fan here.

I've always wondered who were the voices of each character, awesome, and yes the voices of Yoda and Obi-Wan are great! :D
    Anakin's is alright.

The only voice that I don't like in Asajj Ventress...

Mat Lucas .... Anakin Skywalker (voice)

Is he related to George, or is this a coincidence?

I think the guy doing Obi Wan's voice is spot on. Same for Palpatine. But it would have been neat to ask Mark Hamill to do a voice; he's very good at it.

The only voice that I don't like in Asajj Ventress...

Strangely enough, the voice sounds a lot like how I thought Doug Chiang's red-robed Sith woman would have sounded. I like it on Ventress, but I'd imagined something deeper for her.

So far the others are okay. Obi Wan and Palpatine are decent. Yoda is spot on for me. Anakin is annoyingly monotone, but that's how he sounded in the movie too. Not the part of the performance I would have chosen to repeat, but whatever. Corey Burton has done great voice work before, but I seriously doubt he (or anyone) can even approach Christopher Lee. Good thing no one has to play James Earl Jones's Vader.

Yeah good question, when did you hear Padme's voice? She hasn't even spoken yet from what we've seen.
I wonder if they have Jar Jar showing in one show who will be the voice of him or anybody else.

I know I'm just extremely nit-picky, but I'm just not too impressed with the voices.

Palpatine: Meh. There's no match for Ian McD.

Obi-Wan: Way off. There's one line in Chapter 2 (it's two words, but I can't recall it at the moment) that sounded just terrible.

Anakin: I've heard T2Q brag on this guy for a while. His voice has an amazing resemblance to Hayden's, but there's still something not quite right. Maybe the pitch is a little high or something, but otherwise it's a great match.

Yoda: Pretty good, but could be better. For those who keep saying he sounds just like Oz, listen closely when says "newly-formed Army of the Republic." Then watch TESB and/or ROTJ.

As for whoever mentioned hearing Padmé already, perhaps they refer to one of the video games? The same chick as voiced her for at least 4 games. Far as I recall, she was pretty good.

The only other hurdles I can think of are Mace and Dooku. The guy who does Dooku also did him in Bounty Hunter: okay, but Christopher Lee is a hard match. As for Mace, I don't know.

I thought San Hill's voice was good; pretty consistent with the film.

I look forward to hearing Kit Fisto's voice for the first time tonight!

San Hill's voice wasn't too bad, but I wouldn't say it was dead on.

No, not dead on, but it was the kind of thing where I would know who was talking if my eyes were closed. That's more than can be said for one or two others.
