Please keep in mind that it's not necessarily OK to just come into the NSA forum and post all the news being discussed in the SA forum.

Not saying that this particular example is a huge spoiler, but everyone has a different line on what constitutes a spoiler, and the NSA forum exists for a reason.

This is definitely good news. While it's hardly unexpected, it at least shows that they're on track.

When Lucas had a certain cast of characters appear in all six films, I'd like to believe that he did that with a meaning. Hopefully, next in line is 3PO. And we can hope Obi-Wan and Anakin somehow return in their ghostly presence. If those characters, in addition to the Big 3 will be back, I'll have no reservations about casting. Until then, I'm not worried.

 

Where's the spoiler line? Where's the spoiler lineeeeeeeeeee?!!!! Dear God, someone needs to set a line. I'm having heart palpitations here!

So who will play R2 this time? Tom Hanks? Daniel Day-Lewis?

 

DDL would probably stop eating human food and start taking oil baths to get into character.

 

I have it on the highest authority that Mr. DDL no longer wishes to be known as Daniel Day-Lewis, but during the course of production he is to be referred to as R2-D2, Artoo-Detoo, R2 or Beboobeep, which in R2's language apparently means R2-D2. Only DDL would know this; the guy's a pro.

...oh, and I'm sorry to report, but as of this moment DDL is no longer playing R2, as it seems he just attempted to fly using R2's...err..."his" thrusters...and well...CGI will be taking over the role from here on in.
