Absolutely agreed! It was a silly and unnecessary overreaction. And it was destructive too. But on the other hand, it presumably means that AL's production start date of the 22nd April has been effectively "proven" to the mods, and that it is therefore really right. It certainly sounds feasible.

Amy Adams though is sadly too old to play a Mara Jade origin story and too young to play her in episode VII...

Yes, he is. Whenever he puts stuff out there, he's just passing on what he himself has heard. Last I heard was May sometime, but I imagine things are pretty fluid at the moment, so who knows?

 

Thanks Diggs. I gathered that from the other responses but it's nice to know for sure. Not sure how I missed that fact when he was around. I may be understandably reluctant to place faith in everything he says, but I do believe he has legitimate sources and thought it was kind of crappy the way he was targeted by the Mods. I'm not in the habit of being too critical of the way this place is run, and for the most part I think they do an excellent (and often thankless) job, but that one never sat well with me. Anyway, I digress.

I wonder how long the start date can remain in flux before it has to be nailed down. I would imagine that if the casting process isn't completely finished that would be the main reason why it could still be changing, since scheduling mostly comes down to the availability of the actors and locations, which I see being less of a problem at this moment. So if Ali is right, that should mean that all the major casting is complete, and we may be hearing about it very soon.

 

Actually I'm pretty sure they have the right to ban anybody for any reason, and if I were them I'd ban you right now.
