Tempts fate... Hasn't Artoo already been confirmed? Twice...

I though that warning was about new castings, not to 'duh' there back stuff...

 

Well Mayhew has never really been on the duh their back list. With all of his health issues and well the virtual unknown of what eu they're keeping and not he's always been on the we'd like him back but none of us are expecting him back.

Uh... He announced a 'film documentry' of his surgery and recovery so he could return back in late summer/September, not to mention several original cast members mentioned him returning and rumors since then... agree to disagree

And Chewie staying dead due to the EU... nope, that was never a real issue and again that was all but confirmed over half a year ago.

 

Point stands its nothing new, we've told the whole thread for the last month that any casting confirmations and thus thread will be locked. And any other actor rumors will get their own individual threads.

And R2 happened well before we made this choice

Seriously, Mayhew not returning would be weird. As far as the movies are concerned, Chewie isn't dead and everybody knows that only Mayhew can pull him off.
