Congratulations to our 2 winners who will be playing live in the final on the Celebrity stage on Saturday at 6:30pm with host Jay Laga'aia and a number of VIP judges.

 

This should be great fun - I hope all you saturday attendees will be there to cheer both my band 'Anchorhead' and the Dark King of the Sith - 'Darth Elvis' on! - Can't wait to meet Captain Typho too!

 

Congrats to the winner friends of course, but absolutely disappointed about the way in wich the things has be run, please read my comment on the official CE myspace

Man, that sucks. They handled that poorly, it should be you and Anchorhead in the final. The votes say that, and that's how it should be.

Congrats to Anchorhead though.

 

That's my opinion and what i've wrote to the organizer that still doesn't answer to me
"Absolutely disappointend about the way you've run the contest
1) Poll and statistic should be an exact science , what you mean in your blog when you say " we BELIEVE to be genuine votes from individuals"
2) the multiple vote is a matter of who have programmed the poll thing, it's a thing that is OUT OF THE CONTROL of the contenders
3) in this way theres'nt a clear view of the final results people read on the poll one thing and on the blog another one
4) the only fair way to vote should be to let ONLY make a vote for single person and to be voted from the members of Hyperspace
5) what you mean in your blog for SPAM vote? i can't say to my friends and fellows fans: "vote for me" ?
Please give us all the details about the whole thing i must give some explication to all the people and Jazz fans that has voted for me! "

Yea it definitely seems unfair the way they've counted the votes :/ Can't see why they didn't just let hyperspace members each vote once, that way they'd know exactly who was voting and would know that there's no cheating going on!

 

It was poorly done indeed. And Hyperspace is a discrimination.

Still, congrats to the winners even though I'd much rather see the Flute with Ancorhead than Elvis.

 

As the sad boy who owns Ancorhead first comment on myspaz, i have to see you guys!

I'm not a Hyperspace member, so I wasn't involved with the voting at all, but I have to say I wasn't that impressed with Darth Elvis' performance. For an impersonator, he wasn't channeling Elvis too well.

 

Anchorhead kicked ass though.

I wish I could have had a a picture, I hung around for a while afterwards but was asked to 'Move Along'

 

Awesome vid. We kept getting told to move along before we got the picture with them, but we told them that we weren't the fans they were looking for

 

I can't believe I missed this

 

It clashed with the Fanboys Rough Cut Sneak Peak. I so wanted to catch both.

 

Funny thing is, is that I can't remember what I was doing while this was on

 

Same, But I figured I will see fanboy when it comes out, this might have been a one time thing.
