Did anyone here who went to c2 go to the Lando/Lobot Reunion?

 

Yup I did- I really enjoyed it!

 

Did you ask Billie Dee a question durring the Q&A section?

 

No I did not.

 

Do you remember someone asking him if he ever really had a thing for Carrie Fisher?(since he was joking about it durring the discussion)

 

Oh yeah, I went to that. It was really sweet. I don't remember a question about him "having a thing for Leia". But I do remember a wonderful little tyke, dressed up like Lando Calrissian, addressing the crowd and saying he wanted to grow up "just like Lando" or something like that. It was a very wonderful moment. The interview was great. Billy Dee was incredibly urban and suave. I fell in love all over again...erm, hmmm, sorry! The whole thing was worth the 2 1/2 hour wait in line!

I waited 1/2 hour and got a seat front-left.

 

Oh yeah. I remember that scene. Everybody was running like mad to get to the front! Some big dude stopped me from getting anywhere near the front. Good for you! Still, I loved the talk. Billy Dee was just wonderful. I got his autograph the next day, on a piccy. Told him I enjoyed his talk....he looked up at me!!! (Oh gosh, I sound just like a silly fan!) Interestingly enough...he had on really dark glasses. I'm guessing he had a "fun" night previously.

 

I don't think he took the glasses off all weekend. And he didn't look up at me. Too much trouble, I guess, despite taking my money for the privilege of getting some ink from him in person.
