    Thats almost perfect!
But, should we mention that we are a Fanforce chapter? Or do they even know what the hell Fanforce is?

Very nice letter! Well, I think that the Insider probably knows what TF.N is...it seems to be a pretty famous SW site.

Yes, it is, but we need to mention that we are part of that.

The reason that I did not mention Fanforce is that if word get's out they we have begun our campaign to bring Celebration 3 to Boston other fans in other cities may try the same. They may even come to our section to see what we are planning. I may be a little to "Cold War" in my thinking but It's possible. I know that I will be keeping an eye out on the other regions that post on the boards. However if most people think it is better to mention Fanforce at this point I will do so.

I sent the e-mail and I just got a response from Dave Gross, the Editor-in-Chief of Star Wars Insider. The news is not all that great. Though we should not give up hope. Here is Dave's response....

    Scott,

I'll forward your note to the events staff, but I have to tell you it's not likely that Celebration will move to either of the coasts.

The single most important advantage of having it in Indianapolis is that it's within driving distance of more people than any other major city in the U.S. That's the primary reason that both the Gen Con Game Fair and Celebration moved there, and I'd be very surprised if it were to stray far from that spot for the next movie.

The only consolation I can offer is that it's a heck of a lot of fun to fill up a few vans and start a road trip with friends before a big event like Celebration. Maybe you Boston Rebels can arrange a convoy.

    Cheers,

    Dave

I have sent this response to Dave Gross....

    Dave,

I appreciate your rapid response and I see your point about Indianapolis being a central location in the U.S. While we understand the chances of Celebration coming to Boston are slim we would still like the opportunity to try to convince Wizards events staff that Boston would be a fantastic host despite geographical considerations.

We of the Boston Rebels realize that this will be a tremendous challenge but one we are more than willing to undertake. After all the Rebel Alliance did not give up against overwhelming odds.

    Thanks again,

    Scott

Ryno, you're too good. If we'd have had more like you, we'd have become a chapter within a month of our inception rather than over a year.

Ryno, what can I say? You're awesome! Well, if it's any consolation, when Celebration 3 comes along I'll have a car, and I'd be willing to drive people down there. For a little gas money, of course.

Although that is thinking a little ahead...

You're PepsiCan newbie because you provided us with a cheaper way into the Aquarium via that can.

If the key to getting a nickname is getting into the Aquarium cheaply then I shall be known as the Turnstile Jumping Newbie !!

Well, you'll have to come up with something.
I've been here...wow, too long...but its never too late.
How about "Master of the Force" or "Young Master" Maybe even "Mahdi" or "Usal"

Or in the spirit of Blade(which I saw Friday, well Blade 2) you can call me "Day Walker" :p
