Hey guys, I got an email from Mary Franklin. If you can volunteer, send me a PM and I'll give you further info. You get the cost of your badge reimbursed, you "may" be able to enter the convention early without standing in lines (depends what shift you are working), and may qualify for reduced hotel rates. C2 ventures also needs help with the autograph area, see the thread in the Star Wars Celebration forum for more information on that. Compensation for working in the autograph area will be free autographed signatures from the stars, plus you will get to meet them and hang out with them awhile.
We have need of more dependable fan volunteers, both costumed and not, for Celebration III. Some time ago Tim Knapp, who is CCd in this email, was asked by us to cap the volunteer list, because we were afraid there were getting to be more volunteers than jobs. As the big party gets closer, however, we find we need more help!
I know that many of you will be busy at Celebration III leading your group efforts. However, we?d really appreciate it if you could ask within your clubs and regions for more volunteers. There could be some who wanted to get in on the list who were not able to, and some who would still like the chance to get their badge reimbursed.
Please work through Tim, who can add facilitate adding folks to the database. There is a time crunch. Celebration III is close!

Oh, what the heck... Wouldn't be the first time I've volunteered for something, besides, Kelli's helping with autographs, I guess I'll through my hat in the ring.
So, I'm thinking about getting two "I (heart) my Geek" T-Shirts for Amy and Kelli to wear when they're not in costume at C3
Ok! My ticket has been purchased!!! I AM GOING TO C3!!!
Edit: Also, Kelli can we decide on WHEN we'll be arriving, so I can make arrangements at the hotel, also, we need to discuss travel... maybe I'll call you... I just want to put this all in cement.
Edit 2: Ok, so I just searched for Hotels... Only 1 Hotel has rooms still available from 4/21 - 4/24, It's the Hyatt and It's only a single (up to 2 guests) with a cost of $399...
Edit 3: Ok, I don't know why I didn't see it before, there's a Quality Inn & Suites at the Airport (I think it's the one we were looking at before) with rooms available for 4/21 - 4/24 at $74 per night for 3 guests, that comes to $222 total... not bad... and it's 8 miles from the Con...
just a little reminder - hopefully Spokane is working on their flyer to distribute at the Pacific Region Fan Force table at Celebration... i haven't heard anything from kelli recently, and i need a copy of the flyer (preferably electronically) to submit to LFL for approval. for more info on the Pacific Region Fan Force table, come to

How is the flyer coming? Is it done?
It won't be done until I get a group photo... and I obviously haven't stressed enought the importance of that... I NEED the photo ASAP, so that I can send the job to the Print shop with enought time to get it done before C3... No one seems to be on the same page with me on this... VERY IMPORTANT, GROUP PICTURE
