heads up guys...i just called the comfort inn asking if there was a pickup service and they said that i would have to take a separate shuttle from LAX to the hotel. the fare would be $17 each way. also they said that the convention center is a mile away which is roughly a 20 minute walk. hopefully the shuttle bus will be at a stop point nearby where we can hitch a ride.

 

I just saw this on the latest SW Newsletter: Michonne Bourriage (Aurra Sing, TPM) is having a birthday during CIV (May 27). She's been at several events SFFF has been a part of, and I wish I had an extra shirt to give her to make her an HM.

how much is it again per night? i want to set aside my share for the hotel fee ahead of time. also are we paying for the (each) room per night divided by the number of ppl per room so its fair and even? thanks!

 

Um, I guess you could find out what the interest is in another quick run of shirts befor the con? We do have some new members who don't have shirts right (and people from So-Cal who have contacted you asking if they could get a token honorary shirt) I wouldn't mind chipping in for one for her *IF* I can be there when we present it to her

 

Look at a map of the convention hotels for C4. Knowing the layout of that downtown area, I don't think that the convention hotels are in the same direction as the comfort inn. They are all on the opposite side of the freeway, so they would be taking you farther away from your hotel I believe.

 

thanks kathy. i looked up the bus route and found the line going to the con center from the comfort inn. one of the days i'll try and walk it back and forth just to see how far it is. i walk everyday so the walk shouldn't be too bad. thanks

Andrea and I have a hotel room all squared away for thursday night through monday night, but we wanted to get there Wednesday for the marathon. We have a flight that gets to the city at around 4pm. We were wondering if anyone has room in their hotel rooms for us just for that night?
