hey just did a quick check on united.com - I'm getting flights to LAX from Heathrow for £480 non-stop. United is a great airline - flew with them to San Francisco last year - was very smooth!

We have a double room available in the apartment we have rented for May 20th - 29th. No problem if you only need it for the convention dates.
Details are as per previous post, room is a queen sized room in an apartment sleeping 10-12. Apartment will be full of fan force type people. As a queen room it can sleep a single person or a couple. PM me for details. First come, first served.

 

Jedi Knight needs roomate-i have a roomating berth available at the Biltmore Millenium hotel,it is a club room with luxury amenaties,it will cost you only $100 a night(i will be paying room taxes) either post on here or send me a private message-female jedi knights only-sorry!!-this is an absolute bargin!!

Hi all just want to say am going to C4 this year in the states.

I am from the newcastle area in the north east.

Is there any plans for a meet up for people from the UK as i am attending the event by myself

Just a little deviation from this thread but it is about the anniversary anyway,do you know that those nice people called our Royal Mail are being the biggest load of party poopers,i rang them up to see if like our American cousins they are going to bring out a set of stamps to commemerate the 30th anniversary i was told quite rudely that its not a British thing(considering the whole principle photography for A New Hope was done at Elstree,with a near British crew) and we dont commemerate the 30th anniversary of anything!! What a bunch of short sighted wassocks they are!! they could have made a mint-in fact i think it could have been their biggest seller- i just thought i would get that one off my chest!!! what do you all think ?
