Besides, it won't make a difference right now anyway, since you can't make reservations more than a year in advance. So there

 

A little zbirdie told me it may actually be at the Convention Center in Denver....not to start rumors or anything

hehehe...yea right.....

 

But that's the point I was trying to make. If the con is when rumor has it to be, the one year advance for making hotel reservations is FAST APPROACHING. I mean, did I miss something? I haven't kept up with all the rumors, but isn't it suppose to be sometime in the second half of May 2007? That would mean reservations open up sometime in the next 2 weeks. And the announcement is supposedly coming very soon.

Is anyone other than SC and I interested in trying to figure this stuff out beforehand? Seriously, people. The jokes are funny, but I'm trying to get ideas and info for serious planning.

If we start looking into hotels, what are the top locations to research? I'm assuming LA convention center and San Francisco. Is there anywhere else that has been a contender in the rumor mill lately?

 

T-I would be interesting helping out with that!

 

S. D. & Vegas have been mentioned too. I don't know of any other hotels that do the made to order breakfast & manager's reception other the Embassy.
The hotel for Starfest did have several upgrades you could purchase to get breakfast, etc. So I guess asking if other hotels offer something like that it would be worth it, maybe????

 

well there are embassy suites EVERYWHERE!!!

Since Lucasfilm is mostly in Ca. anyway, I'm thinkin LA.
San Fran is a possiblity, I guess, but neither that or Vegas sound right to me. I think it'll be in LA., or maybe San Diego.
(Or maybe I just want that since theyre close to my hometown. )

T, I'm not usually in on the planning stage of stuff like this, so just tell me what to. (Because I don't know. )


One quick note - because there is no movie coming out, I dont think there will be as much of a rush to get hotels and tickets as there was for C3. Plus, That was in Indy. Not exactly "small" but...
We're talking L.A..
