    I saw that, it was really cute.

    That being said, I think we really should do a bunch of Spaceballs ping pong ball troopers for C-V. Both the white ones and the black/grey troopers. [face_devil] Nigel could do a reprise on Dark helmet, and we'd have people in stitches. :D

    Those parties were the best. I think the highlight was hanging out with the Swedish contingent and getting them to sing one of their Star Wars Drinking Songs.

    Dude, you should have been there Monday night. They did a couple encores. :)

    They brought this Swedish vodka (I think it was vodka) that was really some strong stuff. I think I know what makes them start singing all the time. ;)

    Oh damn, I missed that! They explained to me what a Swedish 'Formal Dinner' consists of, which is primarily alcohol. It's like 5 courses with a shot or two between each! Those crazy Swedes!

    You'll have to have Mac tell you about his experience sitting next to them at the restaurant prior to the party. Apparently they were doing some crazy things.

    the boska. sounds like beshka though. it was a schnapp. that tasted like pine sol and gasoline left to rot for a few years. i dont know how they could drink it.

    I took a few sips and that was enough for me. Then I ran the "hey guys you need to try this stuff" ploy. Leona gulped the rest of it down.

    He's got a huge melon --it's like an orange on a toothpick. A vitural planetoid. It's got it's own weather system!

    :) :D [face_mischief]

    Very cool!

    I cant say I made it on a bunch of websites, I was more behind the scenes. ;) Here are a couple highlights.

    Our local MG damsels looking good:

    The special x-wing get together. Thanks again to Zoo for letting me sit in the cockpit. It was very cool!! Cant wait to see to official pix.

    The ANH "Leias" outside:

    Here is my R2 with the mayor of LA (and other VIPs), right before opening ceremonies!
    [image=http://www.hyperdynelabs.com/c4/IMG_2791.JPG]

    The final race of champions!
    [image=http://www.hyperdynelabs.com/c4/IMG_2755.JPG]

    My R2 won the HD races once again (champion at C3 and C4). He gets all the girls.
    [image=http://www.hyperdynelabs.com/c4/IMG_2759.JPG]

    The R2 builders parade:

    Seth Green with one of my pimp blasters next to my "smoking" R5
    [image=http://www.hyperdynelabs.com/c4/IMG_2922.JPG]

    Don Bies signing my R5
    [image=http://www.hyperdynelabs.com/c4/IMG_2935.JPG]

    But my "goal" was to meet up with one of my longtime idols. I was given an opportunity that made the trip worth it: Ben Burtt and I doing some lightsaber stuff - it was plain awesome. [face_dancing]

    Dude... With as much as you've done on this project over the years, I decided it was the least we could do. :D [face_love] I can't even begin to tell you the number of people who commented on the engine pulse, and the lucky few who got into that cockpit were deeply impressed with the light show. :D
