Char, NC ~~~Celebration 4 Speculation Thread~~~

Hey all, since I'll be there when C4 comes around I thought this would be a good place to keep some of the updates Sebulba-X is posting.

Most recent one is here and it says Indy is out for the 2007 Celebration 4

 

To my knowledge, no Celebration has ever been in the same city. The second was somewhere in Colorado.

 

James, the first one was in Indy IIRC

 

Actually, Celebration I was in Denver, Colorado. Celebration II and III were in Indianapolis, Indiana.

 

I knew about 2 and 3 due to my SW Insider Subscription, but never knew about the first. Thought so, though.

And if there's a C4, Sarc from Phat promised to pay for me after this past week

 

I would really like to see them have it in Chicago. Gee James, I wonder how she's gonna make you pay for that...

I honestly see it being in a place like Atlanta.

 

Chicago would be good because it is generally not hot which is good for people in costume.

Dallas would be another good choice.

And this time we are staying in one of the hotels near the convention center.

 

With my AAA membership we might be able to get a discount. I remember trying to get a room for C3 in one of the hotels connected to or near the convention center. It would have cost anywhere between $500-$600 for the weekend. Need to start saving now...

 

That is because you didn't get in on the room block. When the registration first opened the rooms were anywhere from $79 to $155 or so a night. Really, it would be worth it.
