After speaking to Spike_thmid, I have reserved a quin room at this hotel. [face_wink]

 

Suzi, felt rather silly when I realised my creditcard ran out before July 07 so I couldn't book the room

Leigh had PM'ed me asking for a place, so she makes up the 5th person (sorry Cozmic mate, but she had pm'ed me before you posted)

they have rooms for 1-5 people, looks quite basic but it's cheap (yes I am a typical Northerner )

or there are loads of hostels in London - that was going to be my route if I couldn't afford a hotel - cheap, cheerful and good fun (the one's I've been too)

Hope I don't have to join the YHA just to stay ay one of thier hostels but it is somewhat cheap and does look promising

I'm sure Tython will find a proper campsite and not a public park - so tramps shouldn't really be much of a problem !!!

I had a look at the IBIS today and it claims to still have rooms during the show dates and at £99 per room.

The Oxford Hotel seems fully booked though (the quad rooms that is). I'm looking to stay for the saturday night as it'll be easier, although I already have people to share with but thanks for the info on here guys

 

Cozmic, you don't need to be a member of YHA to stay at one of their hostels, though the prices tend to be cheaper if you do - and from what I can remember membership is quite reasonable (or it used to be)

Hope you get sorted for Sat night Tice - would be good if FanForce could take over the Oxford Hotel

 

After looking at YHA's site, I saw that I didn't have to join Chris. I thought I had too after I tried to stay at one in Oxford years ago.
I might be wroking something out with Jase and Tim, but I'll see what happens. I don't know why I'm worring, early days isn't it?

 

I don't think the Oxford hotel has many rooms which is why it's all booked up so early. T'is a shame as that would have been good but I have found a few other places so we should be okay. I only live an hour away from EC so will be commuting the other days, I just think it'll be very handy to stay local on the Sat night and then not worry about last trains and all that rubbish
