So how much do you think the tickets will be for CE will be?
Well, I would hope no more than £50, 'cos C4 in L.A came to about £55 and that's for five days. Let's hope they don't overcharge us Europeans!!
That's not too bad, just hope they don't overcharge
I know its along way off yet but is anyone really excited because I am, we may get a sneak peak of things to come because CIV will be seeing footage of Clone Wars 3D and just think of all the things going to be there, can not wait!
Is £66.40 right for us in a room share ?
how many days is this again Ive looked but can't see it ?
And the other question is how are we all getting to london ?
Well, the train would be pretty quick to get down there, especially with the mainline from Darlo to London King's Cross.
(book enough in advance and it'll be cheap enough too)
I'm looking forward to this, even after the whole venue change and hope everything from now on goes ok. I'm planning a new costume too (providing I lose a little bit of weight) its a padme one but havent completely decided yet lol
And yeah, Trains probably best way to go like. London deals about all the time providing you get them early enough
Dave- yes, that's £66.40 each for five of us for two twin rooms....and as the others say, train would be the best way to get down. If you use the GNER website, I think the timetables are usually released about three months in advance.
....anmd if we book three months in advance we will be able to get the deal where it is £20 return price too seeing as though we know the exact dates and times we need to be there....! Niiiiiiiiice!
I'm going to be crazy and get the coach down
Ok thanks Suez
Ill sort out the Train fare detials 3 months before going down !
what would be the total cost if we went down as a group ?
Im also Planning a new Costume But It wont be ready until 2008 I think - So ill be keeping my jedi costume on standby tho!
What dates are we going to be stayiong within the london area -
What will your new costume be???
hi all, it was nice meeting some of you at collectormania,
if a spare room space comes up i wouldnt mind taking it.
or if anyone is still arranging something for celebration and wouldnt mind me coming let me know.
fly down to london it only takes an hour and a bit, then on a tube to the event and its about £75 return, i'll be bookomg mine soon
Err Have a wild Guess ! BikeScout Officer
Hola all - i'm so very much going to this, my current plans are to crash at a friends place, but a few other folks are coming along from another forum i frequent (and whom i went to C3 with).
Is anyone else doing to CIV at all?
I'm going to CIV
Cool it will look great when its done!
Cool - have you made all your plans yet?
I've got a hotel sorted but not much else!
Where you flying from???
I wish I was going to CIV but it'll be a tad bit expensive.lol
Not booked anything yet...probably London...don't think Manchester go direct!
Going 22-30 May
Flying from Newcastle to France, then France to LA (same on return journey)
Staying in a hostel at either end of my stay and at one of the regsitered hotels during the actual event
Can i be so rude to ask how much your flights cost...?
Yes, you can £472 (eek!) at Courtney Airsavers in Newcastle
I've just bumped up the other thread about CIV in LA, so we don't clog this one!
Well, that's more European...i'm sure we'll have some Dutch fellows joining us in London!
