Tickets on sale today!!!!!!
£53.50 Advanced or £59.00 on the door, not bad at all. Shame I'll have to wait till next Friday to buy mine but still not bad prices.
Knowing my luck they'll sell out
I really cant see the tickets selling out Coz mate - thats why they moved the event to ExCel - so that there would be plenty room for everything and everyone.
This is gonna rock SO much!
2007 will be a great year for Star Wars fans!
(Edit: Just goes to show it's never good to post at 1:20am since I've forgot I'm meant to be using my Christmas sock, oh well )
I HAVE GOT MY TICKETS!!!WOOOOOOO!!!
Plan to get our tickets Monday.
Quite a decent price - I'm surprised
Yeah I agree the prices are really good and I think its great Hyperspace members can get in earlier and other cool stuff!
Right, am I being thick here?? I'm a Hyperspace member, but don't seem to have anything in my e-mails from Starwars.com regarding a code/membership number for Hyperspace member discounts for tickets etc....am I missing something???
There are no discounts on tickets but you do get an exclusive Fan Club Lanyard
Early bird opening ? Star Wars Celebration Europe will be open from
9.00 am until 10.00 am every morning exclusively for Fan Club Members.
Access to the exclusive Fan Club Lounge, featuring Meet & Greet sessions with stars from the films and crew. First seating option at a number of ?Fan Club Only? shows and
Friends & Family Coupons for Fan Club Member. You also should get a code for hotel discounts.
So, how do I tell them I'm in Hyperspace?? Is there a code I need to enter when I'm buying the tickets???
When I go to buy a visitors pass, there's a section which says: If you have a special offer password, then click here to log in (password protected).
Is that where I'm supposed to enter something from Hyperspace????
I booked my Tickets over the phone and when I told the lady on the phone I was a Hyperspace member she didnt know anything about it so I dont know about the code thing, but I did get a code for discounts on hotels!
thank god its christmas which means you get money off relatives. I'm gonna get my ticket as soon as posible
Heads up on cheap rooms in Ilford at £26 per night....while stocks last! Its 7 miles from the Excel venue.

you could always "use" the cane - they couldn't take it off you then !!!

For those of you who know I some times get in a muddle with stuff Im in a muddle with this event in London,
I still have to find out Train fare from Darlington to London return
also to get final info from someone about total costings for the Accom
also Is there a entrance fee to get it ?
And how much should i be taking with me anyhow !
from what I remember hotel is around £65 each for the whole stay (Suzi booked it so she'll be able to give you a more acurate cost)
entrance for the full 3 days is about £53 if prebooked
travel - not too sure I think plane or train will be best bet
beer money - I'll leave that to you to work out
I've booked two twin rooms at the Ibis Excel.
For the 4 nights (Thurs-Sun) it's £166 per room, breakfast is extra at £5.25.
GNER won't have timetables/tickets until 3 months before and you can sometimes get the Ncle-Kings X £20 return deal
Easyjet have return flights from Ncle-Stansted for just under £60 return, but I don't know how easy it is to travel from/to Stansted into London
Jet2.com have return flights from Ncle-Gatwick for £68
British Airways do return Ncle-Heathrow for £99
STA Travel have a return flight from Ncle-London City airport for £119.70
National Express go from Ncle-Victoria (with a pick-up in Durham city centre). It takes about 7 hours and fares are £28 or £35.50
Stanstead to London is easy, it's just the "Stanstead Express" to Liverpool Street - which is a solid Underground station - though not sure what line EXCEL is on yet, It's about a 30 min journey if you get the "no stops" express - but there is a slow one as well. I know this as it's the same train to White Hart Lane i get for the Spurs games,
Looks like it's on the DLR underground line- Custom House station
