Feature your Star Wars Fan Club at Celebration II!
Is it all about the Force?
All about special Star Wars events?
More than anything else, Star Wars Celebration II is all about fans.

Star Wars fans from all over the world will gather in the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis May 3, 4, and 5 to celebrate the premiere of Attack of the Clones, which will open less than two weeks after the event, and to honor 25 years of the Force - the silver anniversary of the release of Star Wars: A New Hope.

We fans who attend Celebration II will take part in an array of spectacular events. We will hear the experts tell us how they really created those special effects, and stroll through the film archives to see the props, costumes, and models that helped bring our favorite galaxy to life. We'll shop for some very cool and very collectible Celebration II merchandise that we won't be able to buy anywhere else at any time. We'll view some of the newest and best fan films, competing for the Star Wars Fan Film Awards.

We'll enjoy these events and a long list of others to be announced over the next few months. But what's one of the biggest reasons we'll travel to Celebration II? We'll be there to share these once-in-a-lifetime experiences with other Star Wars fans.

We may be fans of the galaxy far, far away because we revere Star Wars as a timeless story of the human experience. We may have grown to love the characters over the years by following their adventures in the expanded universe novels, short stories and games. Maybe some of us are simply thrilled by the ground-breaking special effects, or by seeing Ewan McGregor sporting a beard and a lightsaber. We may be fans for different reasons, but we are all fans because the Star Wars films touched us in a lasting way. Celebration II gives us a chance to share that affection with others who understand our enthusiasm.

To help fans share their Celebration II experience, Wizards of the Coast, our convention partners, have set aside a special Star Wars fan area with space for up to twenty clubs. There, members will be able to communicate what their club does, why they do it, and how they are involved in the fan community. They can talk to other fans about ideas and plans, and about what they'll do to celebrate the premiere of Episode II. They can discuss their favorite action figures, reveal tips for creating stunning Star Wars costumes, and make plans to get together for post-Celebration events.

If your Star Wars fan club wants to have its own special area at Celebration II, email evtcustserv@wizards.com and put "Fan Table Info" in the subject line, or write to Mary Franklin, Lucasfilm Marketing, PO Box 2009, San Rafael, CA 94912 and request the Fan Club Table Guidelines. There is an application and selection process, and there are some requirements you will need to meet. Selection will be completed by early March, so write for your guidelines now.
