St. Lou, MO Celebration II - Reviews, Recaps, etc.

Well, I for one had the time of my life. Why yes, I am still alive actually. I apologize for my recent disappearance, and as you can all see, rumors of my death are mildly exaggerated.

So, C2 was a blast, and now I can't wait for C3. And also I am a tad bit more hyped than before about a little flick that is soon to be released.

I'll have a lot to say about the convention in later posts. Real life (what's that?) interferes with my spouting it all out at this moment.

For starters I want to say how cool it was to see and hang with some of my homeys at the convention:
Scott, Jason, Eric, Jason, Don, Tabee, Sally, Jackie, and of course my roomie Holly.

I'll post pics as soon as possible. At the moment, they're not even developed yet. It might cost me a few pennies to get that done, considering I snapped about 10 rolls. Obsessive? Compulsive? Me?

I got my 5 rolls of film developed today.

My Pic of Carrie Fisher was blurred ugggh.
And my pic of 2 jedi at Fridays was blurred.
But I did get some good pics of Hayden.

I have a very good one of Anthony Daniels from Friday. I also have a very stange pic I took of Vader while they were playing the imp march. I also have lightsaber fights from the FF party from a particular St. Louis member. Plus I have interesting pics of Stepf.

I'll be scanning them all in my computer tomarrow.

Hey Jedigal,I looked for you and Holly all
weekend.
Sunday morning on my way to get in line all
the people in Imperial costume marched out
and lined up on the steps of the RCA dome.
Lots of stormtroopers,sandtroopers,biker scouts,emperors guards and of course darth
vader.I was able to get about 15 or 20
pictures.

 

Did you go up to the fan tables room at all? Near the PopCulture room upstairs? Especially on Saturday I was there a lot, and I stopped by there fairly often the other days. Plus the FanForce party Friday night of course.

Yeah, my friend in the 501st told me about the scoop for the photo op and Saturday morning, which I took many many pics at. He told me later that day that they were thinking about repeating it on Sunday. I'm glad they did, and glad you got to see it. Awesome, wasn't it?

 

I took my camcorder and filmed about an hour and a half of footage. I got as much as I possible could, but it seemed that most of my footage was of people getting in my way.

 

C2 was fantastic. I had a great time. The Rick McCallum Spectacular was awesome. Seeing Yoda kicking butt was just incredible. I was a little disappointed with the amount of waiting in line I had to do but at least I was able to get 6 figures (two of which I traded to complete some missing figures).

I will be at C3 no doubt about that. I just hope they plan for bigger crowds.

I am more stoked about AOTC. Can't wait.

but didn't see anybody I knew and there
wasn't much there to look at so I didn't
stick around to long.

I have like 35 pics I took but cuz it is on two seperate disposable cameras I have to wait to finish one before I get the last few I took.


C2 was a blast! I am sooo going to C3!!!!!!

and Episode II seems so very much so cooler since C2!
