Man, those four days are non-stop partying! I'll try to fit in sleep somewhere in between!

 

Dale and myself just bought tix for the C3 party, and they were $15, NOT $50.

 

Paid for mine as well.
However, server has been very busy. Took a few minutes.
Sleep? I do think that word will come up for the event.

If they keep this up, I will need to take a loan until 30th Anniversary.

Heya SF SW peeps I just introduced myself on the checkin page... wanted to say hey and add that I am headed to CIII as well! I was at CII and it was soooo sooo much fun. I'd love to meet some other fans from the area, last time I ran into a few from CA, which was pretty cool, considering how far away it is LOL.

Did you guys have any trouble getting rooms? I can't believe how fast they booked up! Luckily I have a bud in the 501st, so she got us a room that way.

Should be a pretty insanely fun event!!

 

We booked our rooms at the Courtyard Marriott across the street from the convention ctr.

 

The more dorks from the Bay Area, the better!

I just found out I am staying at the Hyatt (in the 501st block) for sure... (having Imp. friends has it's benefits hahaha) I'm flying in on Wed. nite. I'd offer anyone a ride to the airport, but I'm guessing most of you live quite a ways from me and are flying from SFO LOL.

 

I'm at the Courtyard, too.

Um...should I be worried if I haven't recieved my badge yet? I ordered it in the beginning of February or something. What should I do? I'm becoming a little frightened...

 

I'd say if it doesn't come by April 1st, contact GenCon via the C3 website.

 

Anyone flying to C3 via ATA Airlines? If so, you will have to change your flight since they no longer fly directly from SFO to Indy.

 

Eric & Dan: I forgot to ask you at the meeting, but do you two have hotel rooms for yourselves yet?

 

I'm sure this will probably be part of the next meeting... but I thought maybe it'd be useful to sum up details in a chunk.

After all I went through, I suggest you check: (1) your flight numbers, (2) how much check-in, and carry-on you're allowed, and (3) on your luggage tags TO C3, put the address of the hotel you're staying at, just in case

Also, I asked how to ship metal lightsabers/blasters, and they strongly suggested wrapping them carefully in your check-in luggage, and be prepared to take it out and explain what it is, and what it's for (I suggest bring a photo of you in costume with it, etc.)

Hahaha, that should be fun to explain!!! Great idea though... makes sense and that was smart of you to look into it.

I get enough attention when I fly with my mandolin... this aught to be even more intersting!

I have a room- and I might ned another person to share with me and my son...

I only want someone I know- I will be arriving the night before the con.

Is there a way we could all meet up- certain time and place...I will be working the autograph lines - so I don't know my shedule. PLEASE keep in touch with me. I will be back in Madison on the 27th, then email should be working a few days later.
