I haven ever been to one of the Celebrations, but would love to take my seriously addicted husband to the next one. How do I go about getting tickets?

First - wait approximately two years.

Second - check back here to see if there are any more details. ;)

Seriously, C3 will likely not be held until just before the release of EP3 (in 2005?).

    Hey now.... [face_mischief]

You could also use this dead time between Celebrations to move to Indianapolis...that will cut down on your commuting and/or hotel expenses during the C3 weekend. ;)

The idea about moving to Indy, while I'm sure wasn't serious, was bad for another reason. There's no way it will be in Indy again. The first one was in Denver, the last in Indy. We probably won't know where the next one will be until Summer of 2004, and it will most likely be held a couple weeks before the movie premiers in 2005. Since 3 day passes were 75 dollars at the last one, they will likely be at least 100 at the next one.
    Hope this helps.

Always in motion is the future....

Start saving those pennies now :)

For a good number of us the distance will still be too far(no matter where it'll be)
Not that it'll stop us of course..LOL

Given that Wizards have already resevered a full weekend in May 2005 for the entire RCA Dome & Convention Center (they only had part of it for C2), I'd have to hazard a guess and say that Indy is the front runner for C3.

Things can change of course, but the place was reserved just after the end of C3. Probably in May 2003, this online calendar will confirm if the reservation is still in place.

Add to this the fact that the largest gaming con in the US is being moved to Indy next year from Milwaukie, and I'd bet credits that C3 will be in Indy. And hopefully better organized! :-D

Anyone looking for pics from C2, swing by here

I don't know if you're gonna have time for that, Derek. You might just improvise by using a couple of pipecleaners and maybe the cover off of one of your soafa's for a costume.

Should be held in California...duh! H-O-L-L-Y-W-O-O-D

Hmm, let's see: Skywalker Ranch is in (ahem) Cali, Lucas is from Marin County, some scenes were filmed in the state, American Graffitti was filmed in Cali...
Hollywood is the center of the universe and its located in Cali.

I sign the petition for San Diego! Oh, yeah there's this little thing called The San Diego Comic Con? LA, SF, SD aren't the best or friendliest cities in the world I admit but they are California cities and Star Wars WAS born in California believe it or not...so its only fitting that the last Celebration be held at SW's birthplace. Duh!

Well, while CA would have more SW sight-seeing, Indy was the choice for C:II because it is more centrally located.

Yeah, I understand accessibility and all so it makes sense, in a certain point of view. CA would still feel more real to me though. Movie capital of the world and all...
