I'm flying to LA on friday morning (Hopefully between 5-8 am) and coming back on monday after 4pm; this way I can get at least two full days at the convention and two half days (Work and school and money prevent me from staying longer). Because I cant spent the whole day there on fri and mon I dont want to spend all day getting into costume. I want to make a simple one for fri and mon and wear a more tedious costume on sat and sun. Is there anyone who is good at costuming and has any free time (Also a sewing machine would help, as I dont have one)? Normally my friends would help me but they are also going and making new costumes.

I think the Tidewater Alliance sometimes has costume shops, which I will try to attend, but usually school and work get in the way of the meetings.

You're molds are looking fantastic. I cant see the last pic, too small. But I did check out your website.

I'm planning doing Aurra Sing for the long days (Lots of airbrush to put on) and I'm doing a Jaina Solo one as well. Neither should be too difficult. I'm having the pistols and belt/holsters custom made for Aurra so all I would have to focus on is the body suit and vest. For Jaina I'm picking the oufit off a book cover, simple green tunic and pants and belt. None of it will be hard to make nor the mats hard to find, I just have no sewing machine and my friends are occupied with their own costumes.

This is the link for the Jaina costume.

Here is a link you can possibly get the leotard. They are not too pricey too. Its not an easy site to navigate sometimes you have to put in redhotdancewear.com to get the color chart to come up. If you cant find the color order a white one and dye it.

    http://www.redhotdancewear.com/cgi-bin/rhdstore/commerce.cgi?product=leotards&cart_id=7592953.15628 dance leotards

these are more money but they are really nice.

    founds some immages of Aurra

Jania Solo I would just have to make the shirt. The paints can use two pairs of dance pant in white and dye it green, use one pair for the pant and the other cut the leg off and make the waist band. The pants are at Taret about 15.00. Hopefully in white. If not then there are

these are great and come in white so you can dye them. Its good to dye them with the fabric for the top so they come out the same color of course.

Are you local in the Tidewater or Richmond area. If so you can send the stuff to me Ill dye it and make the shirt. The unitard for Aurra you may be able to get in the correct color of red. But Jania is going to have to be dyed. Ive had to dye everything Ive made to get the right color. Im getting pretty good at it.

I charge 10.00 per hr for costuming if you send the fabrics. Dont worry unfortunatly Ive been sewing for 20 + years and am insainly fast, so it wont cost too much.

I live in portsmouth, but on the border of chesp. So pretty much anywhere in the tidewater area is within a 20min drive for me. That sounds like something that would be a good option. I checked your links. I like the unitard with the scoop neck. It comes in red but probably not the red I want. Are you able to dye materials like that, its the nylon/lycra spandex but the shiny kind. If you cant dye it I will probably just go to a fabric store or something and buy the material and a pattern to make a unitard. Thanks for all your help. Let me know if that is a type of material you can dye and if not I will probably still need the Jaina shirt made and the pants dyed. Let me know if you would be interested.

Feel free to email me at liivingdeadgirl@msn.com

redhotdancewear.com this place has cotton stretch unitard that can be dyed. I bouth a what they call brown and it was too light for shaak Ti, it was more of a beige. I dyed it extra extra dark brown. and it held the dye great. I would recomend this place
http://www.redhotdancewear.com/tops.html this page is thier color chart. The red looks pretty good.

Im in Virginia beach. So that is close for fittings and such.

Damn! I'm supposed to go to a wedding that day... Maybe it will be early and I can show up afterwards, though I may be late. What's Fantisci, a mini-con?
