Wow, the 4 day deal is kinda pricey, but...I don't think I'm staying with anyone cause I live here, so I know I'll end up going for sure.

I just got the notice email. I'll be getting the four day pass. It's good not have to pay hotel and air I guess.

 

Yes!! I'm excited! I may try to get a hotel room, just for the heck of it.

Well, I don't have to get a plane ticket, but I will need a room. There's no way I'm going to commute from my side of the hill. Too many wackos on the roads. The only crazies I want to deal with for those 5 days are the ones going to the convention center like me!

I can't freaking afford it!!! $110 for all four days, $40 for one day. They should have at least made the price comparable to Gen Con So-Cal.

OK, I will be probably around for the ancillary fan-events, but no way can I afford to go.

God, I'm depressed now.

I probably might only do the weekend days just cause of my now hectic schedule. Hopefully things will work out.

 

I'm so there and will also try to get a room also. Yeah! I still wish it were in Indy.

Someone try to remember to remind me to get a pass around February, OK? ('tis my goal month for being able to buy it less-guiltily) If they're actually sold out, I'm taking out someone's not-so-fannish spouse or kid and taking their pass!!! >

*grumbles half-heartedly about airfare* (maybe someday I'll actually get enough miles for a free flight though...only 16,000 more NWA miles to go, arg)

 

Just FYI, for those who are thinking of getting a hotel room -- they are not giving you a code at the same time you get registered this year -- they are sending the code in an email to everybody on November 2. Yeah, weird, I know.

I got mine too! Now I'm buying Friday tickets for Mr. DH and the padawan. I figure one day from school won't hurt...

I'm registered too, yea! I'm not a member of the Fan Club though so those of you who are can rub in all the extra goodies you get. (Not joining that 'cause I'm still protesting TPM.)

 

I believe the big perk behind being in the fan club is the opportunity to go to the Wednesday night "Preview" day. I'm hoping to use that day to get Star Wars Shop Shock Syndrome and recover so I can enjoy the rest of the convention.

 

Do you know if the tickets run out at all and at what point? I'm assuming they don't. I want the four day pass, but I don't feel like ordering just yet. I need to make sure I can take that much time off of school and work. Thanks peeps.

 

Unless there has been a serious about face at GenCon and Lucasfilm, there's no way these tickets will sell out -- at least not ahead of time. The fire marshall may have something to say about it on the day of the event, but that's a long way in the future.

The only thing to think about is that you will save some money if you do the pre-sale.

 

Just registered, will buy tickets tomorrow when I get paid.
