Yeah, sorry, It's just that when I gt your PM's, you're at work and I don't bother to reply. Not that you'll get this in time, but I am gonna give you a call around 3:30 to arrange a time/place to drop off the money for C4.
OK, so I have never done this before, so I am wondering, since I am gonna have a lot of money , how should I carry it around? Should I get it all in cash, or are most of these places going to be able to take plastic?
I don't know the answer to what are they going to take, cash is easiest, but it's also the easiest to loose or get stolen. Plastic is best if "lost or stolen" in a concern. I would think that any dealer wanting to keep his/her reputation within the community would take plastic, even on the convention floor.
If I dont get to see you before you guys go, I want to wish you on a safe and fun trip. Take lots of pictures, and take care. DONT LOOSE MIKE!!!!!! Although if you run out of cash you can sell his organs... I mean, take good care of him!
If you have a debit/credit card that you can put your money into, that would be a good idea. You can keep cash though. I didn't buy a lot at C3 and used my debit card/credit card most of the time. Cash is best when you need to pay somebody or split a restaurant bill. Using an ATM machine is another option. Then you can get out only what you need and not risk having the entire wad stolen.
Good idea... best of both worlds. Security of plastic with the option of getting cash when needed. You don't want to loose you wad at C4. Well... maybe you do want to loose your wad at C4.
Fracking GenCon!!! I E-mailed and Called them (having to leave a message) well over 2 weeks ago, several times. Never got anything back but just 1 email stating that they will look info my issue, but AFTER C4 starts, because they have been closed this week and are going to remain closed till Wed. I was told by the hotel I have to go through gencon. I can't unload that room, and now I know why I can't get a hold of them, hows that for customer service? Now I'm stuck paying a $191.80 charge for NOT using a room I have on hold.
I've had the room listed on 4 boards for over a month. BTW..... [image=http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d130/hal9k1/4.png] days!
I can get the phone and the laptop to talk, should I bring the laptop? O, BTW......[image=http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d130/hal9k1/3.png] Days!
K. Just keep in mind the laptop os very old and falling apart (litterally- but it works) and it stil cost me a bit to get online so please don't leave it connected all day long.
According to the online description, there is a refridge in the room, but some of the others staying there say the fridge is an extra cost. Maybe they got a smaller room than ours. DO NOT FORGET TO PACK YOUR TICKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quartzite is no place to remember you left them on the dresser at home. Almost there... ...stay on target...
I'm bringing a lot more than I thought I was. 1. royal guard/maybe jawa 2. toaster/coffeemaker/griddle gizmo 3. Clothes 4. Chargers and electronic goodies 5. Assorted bathroom stuff 6. blankets to protect the helmet 7. Energy drinks 8. Frozen stuff (food) So far I have 3 bags and the armor tub.

I hope you all have a great time at CIV. Be careful. If anyone needs any plants watered or something let us know as we will be staying here. Barring any babysitter problems, I would love to see some pics from CIV at June's meeting.
you can always do what us troopers do, put it in your thermal detonator and shove it in your backside
I'll bet it will be up on YouTube before we even get back to the hotel that day. Or it will be on hyperspace. Either way you will see it.
Hey Guys, I just wanted tp say have a safe trip also. Have lots of fun, take lots of pics, and bring home lots of great stories. Mike, don't forget to get that poster for me. I'll be watching the live G4 special on Friday, hopefully I'll see a familiar face or two. Atleast a familiar costume maybe.
[image=http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d130/hal9k1/1.png] Day! Man, it took so long to get here now I wish I had more time to prepare.
I started packing and realized that I have WAY too much stuff in 5 bags. 1 suitcase of just food and the toaster. 1 suitcase of clothes 1 "bucket" for the Guard 1 suitcase of electronics 1 bag of stuff that didn't fit in other suitcases If I omit the toaster and the frozen food stuff that lessens 1 suitcase. I then should be able to condense 2 bags into 1. Making 2 bags and 1 set of armor. So unless anyone say nay I'm not bringing the toaster/griddle/coffee maker and frozen stuff
